PLANNING & SCHEDULING:
IDI is committed to provide in – house project planning programs. It ensures proper utilization of resources by giving focus on planning, scheduling, resource management and cost control. Total project control is achieved through the used of critical path network and performance measurements from the pre-construction phase to the construction phase.
IDI takes on an aggressive but realistic attitude towards projects scheduling through identification of bottlenecks and looking for creative and innovative ways to avoid them or at least minimize their negative effect on the project. Scheduling involves milestone dates as well as critical path networks organized by building zone, trade and phase.
ESTIMATING:
IDI Professional estimators prepare detailed estimates throughout the entire design process. These estimators have extensive experience in the construction industry with background on contracting, construction management, owner representation and constructing consulting. All the estimates produced in-house for all the facets of the project are reviewed and analyzed at least twice before submission to the client. The practice provides greater control especially during the early phase of the estimating period.
Like other construction companies, IDI utilize the four basic pre-constructional phases conceptual phase, schematic phase, design development phase and the construction or contract-document phase. The first two phases already allows the client to establish and verify the allotted budget.
VALUE ENGINEERING:
With IDI extensive experience in construction, Value Engineering and Management has played an important role in all of its organizational development and construction services. During the course of every project, every aspect of the construction stage is carefully analyzed to assist the clients in improving the quality of their facility, trim construction budgets and accelerate the constructional progress without sacrificing the quality standards.
Value Engineering which basically is a process of eliminating or revising anything which contribute to the projects cost without reducing functionality and aesthetics adds value and saves money. IDI method in value engineering remains a significant factor in the delivery of the highest quality and the most efficient projects.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT:
The Construction Management Team of IDI was characterize by its wide range of experience, diligence, communication and technical skills and client satisfaction orientation.
The role of IDI as a construction Manager is to properly maintain the condition of the worksite. Rules and Regulations are established and monitored for the safety and security of everyone involved in the construction project as well as the protection of the existing facilities.
During construction, weekly meetings are held to effectively plan, organize and control the project and to keep the client updated on the cost, schedule and problems encountered during the course of the project. All these are incorporated into monthly reporting system. Furthermore, should there be any change in the contracts, prompt action is taken to reduce the impact of the change in cost and most importantly on the completion date.
